HOUSE AND FAMILY

Max Läubli lives in the Italian part of Switzerland in a very old and well preserved house, together with his wife Madeleine. His atelier is in the wild garden behind the house. A dependence, Madeleine's atelier, is also part of the property.

It is a family of artists. Max's wife Madeleine Läubli-Steinauer is a textile artist. Her art works, made of several types of cloths, picture angels richly variegated in colour and form. She exhibited in a number of towns in the German, French and Italian parts of Switzerland .

Sibylle Ritterband, Max and Madeleine's oldest daughter, currently lives in Vienna and is an artist as well. She creates strange and fantastic objects out of different materials called “les Sibylliens”. She exhibited in London , Buenos Aires and Vienna.
