Max Läubli was born in Herisau (CH). After spending his first years in Sementina (Ticino), he grew up in Basel . He attended the art-school (Kunstgewerbeschule) in Basel. |

He moved back to Ticino . He has lived in Claro, a small village near Bellinzona since 1959. |

Max Läubli's extensive work includes mostly oil paintings and drawings, but also murals, stained-glass windows, objects and sculptures in different materials. A number of pieces are owned by public institutions. |
